4th September at Victoria Park! 

After the overwhelming success of last year’s events, Leicester Pride is set to return to the city on Saturday 4th September 2010. Building on the momentum from Leicester Pride 2009, this year will be much bigger and better thanks to growing support and recognition from Leicester City Council and the LGBT community.

A route has been decided, starting at Humberstone Gate, and taking the parade through the heart of the city to the festival site at Victoria Park! (See Festival Guide)

After consultation with members of the Leicester Pride Facebook groups, the committee are proud to announce that this year’s events will have a “fairy tale” theme throughout.

We are looking for Drag Queens, Dancers, Stilt Walkers, Entertainers, People willing to represent sponsors etc please register early.

Volunteers wanted The pride committee is also expanding with new roles to meet the challenges ahead. They are currently looking for motivated individuals who are interested in giving something back to the LGBT community. Anyone who is interested should contact us for more information.
